Brewing news Russia: InBev’s office for Central and Eastern Europe is to be relocated to Moscow

InBev, the world's largest brewing holding said Tuesday, 04 April 2006, it would relocate its office for Central and Eastern Europe to Moscow, due to Russia's importance to the company's large-scale projects, according to a statement of RIA Novosti.

Belgian-Brazilian holding InBev, headquartered in Belgium, said relocation would begin July 1, and that 40 employees would work at the new Moscow office.

InBev owns eight breweries in Russia, where it is represented by Sun Interbrew, the second largest brewing holding in Russia and the largest in Ukraine. Last year the company bought independent brewer Tinkoff, and has a portfolio of popular brands including Stella Artois, Beck's, Klinskoye, Sibirskaya Korona, and Tolstyak.
